Data Memory Systems sell 1 GB for the PowerBook G4 for $229. I bought memory from them before and always been satisfied. NewEgg.com has also 1 GB memory modules starting around $150. I bought my 1GB from them for $202 a few months ago and it's been working fine since then in my PowerBook 17". However, they don't mention Mac compatibility.
