But all the encoding is done on the Mac, so you better have a fast Mac.
Also, if one lugs the one and only 'book around, recording won't be
possible unless the machine sits home. Perhaps this a reasonable reason
to buy a Mac Mini for the digital Hub and run it headless with VNC (and a
video adapter) ?
