I have a question about the top case plastic (the part that contains the
trackpad) of the Powerbook Lombard. Do they all have a separation in the
plastic right below the trackpad clicker? Or is that a stress crack I keep
seeing?

My wife's Pismo has a small break (stress I guess) between the track pad and the clicker. When I have to break the machine down for a small part like I did my lombard, I will replace it with the extra I have but it's just such a pain to replace....

Yours is most likely stress too.....
