It appears to be stuck. Any ideas for getting it "unstuck"? It won't eject at all. It was fine yesterday and today it doesn't want to open.
Try doing a shutdown then startup. I've had this happen on iMacs and a PowerBook or two. The Power Manager forgets to power up something, such as the CD-ROM drive. Usually shutting down a PowerBook will clear it. On the iMac I'd have to shutdown and then pull the power cord momentarily.
