I agree, it was an astonishing PITA to fix. The outer shield on mine is now only roughly circular.

This is the one thing that has always infuriated me about Apple: their [EMAIL PROTECTED]&&@ non-standard power adapters. For a long time they were using rational ones, like with the 1400. Then they went back to the wierdos.
