I did a few more tests. Trying to do maximum size exits full screen mode but
the window fills the entire screen. As soon as I go to full screen mode, the
picture shrinks about half the size it has when in maximum mode. I have
taken 2 pictures showing the picture size in full screen mode and in maximum
size mode. Let me know if you want me to email them to you. I guess I'll
have to stop by the Apple store...

choke v.: 1. [common] To reject input, often ungracefully. "NULs make System
V's lpr(1) choke." "I tried building an EMACS binary to use X, but cpp(1)
choked on all those #defines." See barf, gag, vi. 2. [MIT] More generally,
to fail at any endeavor, but with some flair or bravado; the popular
definition is "to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory."
