Re: Recording records/tapes - Choosing a sound card

All I have done so far is digitize old tapes 
using the mic port and Audio Hijacks Pro. 
Frankly, with the quality of those tapes not much 
would have helped. I just wanted to be able to 
listen to them on the computer.

However, I do have some records I would like to 
digitize. Will any old sound card do? I am 
thinking under $100 on the used market. Which 
cards are better than others?
