Any solutions or ideas? Should I just get a new battery?

You might luck out with a new battery, but don't count on it. The results you're getting sound about right. I'm told the rule of thumb is that using Airport cuts your battery time to about half.

It makes it difficult to soar into the wireless blue yonder when you're weighed down by extra batteries. Maybe the G5 laptops will come with solar chargers. Starbucks will have to reserve all the sunny tables for Mac users.
