Open Safari if you're running OSX and open preferences (under "safari" menu next to blue apple) open the "general" pane and first item down: Default Web Browser" change that to Netscape.

receives, but asks for the pop mail addy and I give it the right answer (i
think) but I don't know...I must not be holding my mouth just right.
This is a little more difficult to explain, especially since I dumped Netscape because of its slowness, among other things, and use Safari. I would need to know a lot more of what you're running. Are you running OS 9.x or older? Are you using a version of Netscape Navigator? Are talking about sending web mail from a Netscape page?
