I ran into a different pothole over the weekend. I wanted to log onto
an encrypted DSL modem with my Wallstreet II which uses an Orinoco
Classic Gold PC card (8022.11b). The card allows WEP encryption.
However, I am using it with the Apple (OS 8.6/9.x) Airport drivers.

I know I can enable WEP encryption via the Orinoco drivers, but as
mentioned above, that's not what I'm using. And the two types of
drivers conflict, so it's an either/or situation. I can only have one
or the other loaded, not both as the same time.

I really don't want to have to stop change drivers and reboot
whenever I need to log onto a WEP WAP. Is there a way to do so with
the Apple Airport software (v. 2.0.4)?

Thanx,

Bob
