Just recently got SBC DSL and was wondering what I will have to do to
get my powerbook hooked up to it wirelessly. I had it and my B&W hooked
up to my cable modem thru a wireless router, no problem. But after I
got DSL and hooked my B&W to it, my wireless now doesnt want to play
nice. It is a Netgear router and a Speedstream DSL modem, if that
helps.
TIA Bill
Hi Bill
I use a Netgear connected to a cable modem.
the modem needs to go in the port nearest to the antenna (this is the Wan port) then the ports for some reason on mine need to be used in reverse, For example if i use port 1first the router is messed up all the time! but if i use port 4 first then all is fine.
Just incase you never got a set up sheet with the router. make sure you power it all down and leave it for 2 minutes before re-connecting it all.
