I have a 12in dual USB iBook (600MHZ G3) running 10.3.9 and the other night the trackpad and mouse button just stopped working. I checked and rechecked the ribbon cable it appears to be in correctly. Anyone have any suggests as to what else might be wrong?

Have you tried to connect an external mouse to see if it will work?
