Thanks, I will give that a try. I do not have the disks that came
with my iBook so I have not been able to get anything else to work.
I have tried zapping to PRAM four or five times in a row, going into
open firmware and reseting from there and that did not help. I will
give your idea a try and see what happens.

retail system to support this model was 9.2.1.
Oh, your probably wondering why I went through the extra step. My
Audio software I use on my desktop does not seem to get along with
OS 9.2.1.
