Can anyone tell me if I'm running OS 10.3.4 (also 9.2.1) & hooked up a Farallon iPrint so I could still use my trusty apple LaserWriter 4/600ps with OS X. My question is, I hooked up the iprint part to my printer & ethernet of the pismo But what else do I need to do or have? In OS X, I clicked on the SYS folder/printer folder & the laserwriter is listed in the PPD folder.
But in the Pref's panes/Print & fax when I click on add a printer, it does Not See my printer! To even be able to pick it!
Make sure you have AppleTalk selected on the Ethernet interface in the Network Preference Pane.
Make sure you are searching "AppleTalk in Printer Setup.
