Thanks for the link. I did not know that such a hack existed. One
issue I have with hacks is the supportability... Apple seams to
accidently disable such exploits with every new release of a patch.
The DVD player in Mac OS 10.2 comes to mind and the G4 upgrade in
the B&W also comes to mind.
I must applaud the hacks that mac users come up with. I have been
depended on those hacks for sometime. Even if I knew about the video
mirroring hack for the iBook I think I would have purchased the
powerbook.
The nice thing about this hack is that it merely sets a variable in
the NVRAM which enables the software already built into the iBook.
The software only needs to be run once to enable it (and after any
subsequent resets of the NVRAM.
