Give ControllerMate a shot (http://www.orderedbytes.com/controllermate/).  
It might be a little on the processor intensive side at times, but depending
on what you're playing, might let you use the iShock without a problem.  The
author is awfully responsive if you find bugs, and added support for my 
Gravis Gamepad within a week or so of me requesting it!
