While I wait for another to answer, I thought I might ask the whole list this question...
Why doesn't my Laserwriter IINTX show up as a printer in the chooser? It is connected by appletalk, and is terminated. Appletalk is set to printer port and I am running OS9.2.2. I must admit the last time i used it much, I was running OS 8, it started with some small OS in 1989...and worked long and hard for one person it only has 48,423 copies. Something went wrong and I temp used an inkjet...then I found a laser tech, albeit an HP kinda guy and the took my $100.00 and pronounced it fixed. so connecting it with the above cabling I expect it to...well...work! It does not make a desktop printer to spool to, even tho my application recognizes Laserwriter...
