I can't say it's been especially worthile in the 3 years I've had the G4/500 upgrade. Perhaps burning CD's is faster, but not much anything else. And I had to upgrade from OS 8.1 to 9.1 or the CPU upgrade wouldn't work (but not a bad idea anyway :-) I also found out that I had to put a "." before my Iomega extension or I'd get shutdown freezes. something neither Sonnet nor Iomega knew or admitted to.
