I've checked the specs online and all it says is "reads DVDs at up
to 8x". Only the recent PBs mention "reads DVD+R".
I was thinking of getting a Philips DVD Recorder that burns to DVD
+R and +RW only. Great deal, but only if it works!
FYI my 1.5Ghz will play a DVD+RW that was burned on an RCA set-top.
