Hello all,

My roommate and I are going to be getting 4 Gig iPod Nano's soon. I have a Pismo, so I'll be getting a PC card adapter that will give my Pismo USB 2.0. As the new Nano doesn't have Firewire, using 1.1 with the 4 gig model would be so slow it might be unpractical. But that's a simple solution for the Pismo. What can my roommate do with his iBook? It's got two USB 1.1 ports and one firewire port. There's no PC card slot as is the standard with iBooks. Is there an adapter that can give the iBook (son of Pismo) a USB 2.0 port? I've been looking, but have found nothing. Any ideas would be helpful. And for those in the know. . . just how slow would it be to transfer 4 gig worth of music using USB 1.1? A day? A week? Thanks for any input. . .

Zoltan
