Twice this week my WS (upgraded to G4/500, running OS 9.1)
has refused to wake up from Sleep. The first time the
screen was gray, the 2nd time the spinning clock never
stopped (both times applications were open).

Does this indicate coming hardware problems or that
perhaps I need to run Disk Warrior soon (I usually
run it every 6 weeks, but haven't for 2 months or so)?

I don't know for sure what happened but on my Wallstreet when I closed the lid it would from time to time fail to sleep. Thus when the lid was opened and it wouldn't wake up because it had cooked itself (or so it seemed. It has happened a few times and there hasn't been any long term problem that I've found.
