Greetings All...

I have a Ti 400 which has run on average 8 hours a day since bought new (4+ years?). Maybe I am just rationalizing the purchase of a new computer, but I am starting to worry a bit about the longevity of the 400. Is there a predicted life span of the critical components... a time when one should truly be concerned about how much time is left? FWIW, this one, even though lugged around quite a lot, has not given me an ounce of trouble, hinges or otherwise. It is completely stock with the exception of extra RAM.

Might I also ask if any of you can recommend good sources for refurbs? I may decide to wait until the intel switch to buy a new model.

Thanks in advance,

Don
