Hi James
I would say that the drive you have in it is not bootable or has
been set to slave do you have the drive that came with the book still
if so stick that in and try again. if that does not work then it must
be the media Is it original or been copied for back up because if it
is copied there might have been something missed.do you want a
original G3 powerbook disc to try.
