finally, what's the final word on whether or not it's a good idea to
fully discharge your battery once a month or so?
PC magazine recently ran an article on batteries.

They say 500 charge/discharge cycles is about what you should expect.
They also figure if you discharge halfway before recharging it counts
as half a cycle.
I've also heard that a small discharge (90% remaining) might not count
as a cycle.
