Always have handy that saviour of DVD drives the straightened paper-
clip. Look for a tiny hole to the right of the button on your drive,
gently push the straight end into the hole, the drive will now open.
You should then be able to quit the application by force quit.

Subject: Pismo frozen with DVD
From: Donald Keenan <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Message-Id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Folks, please help!
I was watching a DVD via DVD Player in Jag on my Pismo and it froze
with the spinning beach ball. Now I can't even force quit and I can't
eject the DVD by dragging to trash or with my finger on the drive. I
can't shut down even. I try not to use the Pismo for playing DVDs just
because of this kind of poor functionality, but now I have a trapped
DVD disk in the drive.
Is another level of killing this? It's running on the battery.
Thanks,
Donald
