SO is it an L2 cache issue?

L2 Cache problems on the Lomard are fairly common. It is not a user fixable problem except that you can replace the entire processor card. One of the upgrade manufactures will fix the problem for a bit over a $100.

A bad L2 cache will impact performance but will not cause any stability problems. Our Lombard which has a bad L2 cache is used as the family message center and lives on the kitchen counter. It runs 10.3 and has an uptime of probably around 6 months. It is without a doubt the most heavily used computer in the house.
