Hi Caleb,

I just bought a Linksys WRK54G... the one that comes with the notebook card. Folks seemed skeptical of Linksys, but their products have been rock solid for me for over 7 years now. All Linksys equipment, 'cept for one D-Link PCMCIA card.

ANYway.... if your AP is used, has the configuration been changed to something unusual? Have you tried to use the Reset button to restore factory defaults? I've found the Linksys routers to always work on my network with all the out-of-the-box settings. For different reasons, I use DHCP and static IP addresses and the routers just deal with it.

My connection is through Charter cable, and it's DHCP all the way.

Thanks in advance,
Caleb
