Remove the cover from the zip then remove the little sticker from the side of the slot and extend the slot with a dremel.

to stop everything getting in (dust etc) super glue a piece of felt (color of your choice to the inside of the bezel before fitting) once fitted and dried use a razor (not the phone type) to cut the slot in the felt and thats it.
