Yes and no... there have been several articles over the years about how much you can tell from things like the checks people write, the movies they rent or the things they have in their trash...
it's the reason the feds are doing data sweeps in as many places as possible...
one article outlined besides an accurate income level and that they were living beyond it... the age of the parents, the number and age of their kids, the type of pets and that someone in the house had a drinking problem... just from a years worth of canceled checks.... you can imagine what a collection of bookmarks says about you...
