It's been a while since I've had to use a mail program compliant with a browser--between Gmail and using PINE on my ISP (yup, pure text--no virii that way. :) ), I haven't had the need. But when I did, I preferred Eudora--clean, easy to navigate and set up. Mac friendly, no holes like Outlook that hackers usually take advantage of. http://www.eudora.com/ is the website.
