$750 would be a good price, even without a graphics adapter. You
shouldn't have a hard time finding a replacement AGP or PCI card from a
variety of non-Apple source, including the used market/eBay. I would
suggest you find out *why* the factory card is missing, though. Did they
just want to keep it or was it fried, shorted out, etc? If the card
died, there could be implications for the system board.

Also, a couple of the specs you list seem odd. I thought the G4 500s
shipped with at least a 20GB hard drive. And, all but very recent models
had a DVD-ROM drive that was something like 32X when reading CDs. Is
that 6X referring to DVD playback, only?
