Since it has different connector pinouts, does it mean that won't work with

Correct.

The required connectors are made by Japan Molex, and are normally not
available in the U.S.

It should come as no surprise that Apple's power supplies are made by a
variety of Asian companies (Delta, ASTEC, etcetera) as well as some domestic
companies (General Electric). I have not seen a domestic power supply in an
Apple product in years and years.

To convert a 7200/7500/7600 P.S. or a 7300 P.S. to a G3, one would have to
have the Japan Molex connectors, a pin extractor, and accurate pinouts of the
G3 DT P.S.

I have seen 9600 P.S. pinouts, and I believe 7200 and 7300 pinouts were
published once. I have not seen G3 DT pinouts.

The Beige G3 mobo is identical in the DT and MT, but there are jumpers on the
mobo that take into account which power supply is being used (DT or MT).

The DT's P.S. is most like the 7300's P.S. The MT's P.S. is most like the
9600's P.S.
