Greetings list,
Any thoughts as to why my Mac sounds like an old grandfather clock?
I can hear the drive going "tick-tock" constantly. There is no activity,
i.e. I'm not using it and there are no applications doing background work.
It just sits there going tick-tock when there is no other drive activity.
Other than that everything works fine. I can perform any normal task and all
applications are working.
It's a Beige, 266MHz MT with stock 6GB drive, OS9.1 and 578MBRAM.
Thanks for any suggestions.
