Having a problem with a G4 PCI and 512MB DIMM's
I tried installing two generic 512MB PC133's into a 1st generation G4
with PCI video. The Mac would power on , but no start-up chime, no
video, no hard drive access.
I tried one at a time and also removing the original 64, with the same results.
This same ram works fine in a G4 with AGP video and iMac's.
The ram shows up as PC133 2-2-2
Is there something unique with the G4 PCI Mac?
