There are a lot of reports of same at www.xlr8yourmac.com under the Drive Compatibility Database and under info on the Yosemite. I added my experience here with one of the new 60GXP IBM 40GB drives, which unfortunately showed the same well-known problems with Rev.1 logic board Yosemites: i.e., data corruption, especially with large files (e.g. 10MB or more), when used in master-slave combos and/or as a single HD; the fix was to install a PCI IDE controller (in my case, the VST Ultratek). The best way to get info re. which drives work and which don't is to check out the xlr8yourmac.com database.
