Setup:
Cube/OS9.1IE/Eudora4.3(lite)/Internal modem as V.34
(V.90 looses the connection all the time)

Our Cube is misbehaving: When we check mail with
Eudora, Remote Access is supposed to go offline after
checking. That's how it worked the first month, but
now it connects again immedeately. If we click
Disconnect or Cancel, it just tries again. Yesterday
it even woke up to connect.

I have tried to close Eudora, but this has no effect.
Please note, this does not happen after restart until
we have checked mail. According to Remote Access
control panel, there is no data transfer.

For the time being I seem to have it under control by
disabling "connect automatically" in Remote Access, but
it feels a bit stupid having to connect manually for
browsing. Eudora can figure out how to dial with this
setting off...

I occasionally saw something similar on our 7500/G3
with the same software, but then it stayed
disconnected when I pressed Cancel/Disconnect.

Perhaps I should go back to Eudora 3?

Any suggestions?

TIA
