Hi !
I`m using an Apple TFT StudioDisplay (the old b&w-version!) on my
G3/300 yosemite - and I`m very, very satisfied with it. I`m using an
20" ColorSync Display on the same machine - and it`s a very big
difference concerning contrast and colors. It`s simply more relaxing
to work on the TFT and it`s colors are fantastic ! I like it for
doing the text- and graphic-working-stuff I`m working on. And it has
a big advantage (my opinion) in comparison to the new TFT displays
from Apple :
I can change the hight of the display at the big foot it has. It`s
simply more flexible than the new ones ! Second it doesn`t need
special video hardware (AGP and so on) but simply works on any
machine (even PC`s!).
I`ve tried to play some games on the TFT, but that doesn`t look very
good (not as good as on the CRT), because the redrawing of the screen
and the tracing shadows are a little bit disturbing (depends also on
the video card you use, of course) So for games I use a CRT monitor.
Just my 2 cents.
