I'm right in thinking you have a DB-25 SCSI external port on the back
yeh? OK, this is good. You can get the adapter mentioned above, add it
to the drive, and shoe horn it into an external SCSI box. Connect it up
(with any required Terminators and things) and fire it up before you
turn on the Mac. It won't be terribly fast (shame on a UFW but hey) and
it might be a bit noisy but you wanted the extra space right? I did the
external case thing with a 2GB IBM when I had a PM 7500 and it worked
fine (as long as it was on before the Mac of course). I'm not sure about
the adapters and stuff. The only other way its to see if you can get a
SCSI adapter for USB and plug it into a USB PCI card (which I'd hope you
already have :) - if not $15 won't kill ya will it?) on the mac. It'll
then act like a USB drive but unfortunately will not be any faster or
quieter, It'll probably cost more. You could try sculling around
electronics supply catalogues to see if you can get an 80-pin UW to USB
enclosure for it. I don'y know what you guys can get hold of in the US.
