No complaints at all with my Yamaha CRW2100 Firewire drive.. Got it for really cheap at a Best Buy.. It was an open box buy, only thing missing was the Neato CD Labeler which I already had.. Scored it for $150 brand new in the box.. :) 16x10x40 and Firewire.. Its sweeeeet.. I bought this drive after using the SCSI versions at work (this is the only drive we've approved Kinkos branch stores for using), and after trying to put my Plextor 8x4x32 from my PC into my Mac. The Plextor would read fine, and appeared I could boot from it.. But it wouldnąt complete an install when booted from a cd so it had to go...
BTW - my Mac is a B&W 350, works in Toast and OS X just fine as well as Jam, Itunes, etc... > I'm getting a B&W G3 soon and would like some recommendations on getting a > CD burner for this rig.
