p.s. if you can find the part number on the eeprom it could be looked up
and you can tell if it's big enough without trying a flash update that
might cause problems.  i wish companies would make their flashers more
user friendly, stealing the code isn't hard in any case and it would be
nice to have some control.  it would be nice if i could flash my g4 back
to the old firmware if i wanted, but it would take a hack.
