Hello ya'll, I'm looking for a source (used or new, preferably Canadian) for an el' cheapo VGA-port PCI video card for my B&W G3 (OS 9 compat... OS X would be nice but not vital).
I have a 2 or 4 MB Trident card that I pulled out of a PC box (PI/166) that doesn't work (though, it is recognised in OS 9 Apple System Profiler as a display device (in OS X it's an unknown device... guess 9 is smarter (Old age and treachery will triumph over youth and beauty every time! ;), vendor ID 1023 (Trident), and device name 1023;9660. Unfortunately OS 9 (or X) don't know what to do with it and Trident itself doesn't make Mac OS drivers (& the Villagewhatever people (who use Trident chips) only seem to have Trident drivers for their own 8 MB+ video cards) All I need is to be able to hook up a second monitor and run it at 1024*768 at 256 greys.
