Sorry I'm a bit slow- and someone may have answered this before, but if you set up all the "prefs" in page setup and then click "OK" while holding the control key down, wont laserwriter 8 remember those as the defaults? Seems to me that is what I did... but its been a while. If this doesn't work, I'll have to check my references (macWorld macSecrets might be best in this case...)
