Point #1: backing up OS X (the OS) isn't really worth it. You're better off
backing up your Users folder, keeping back-up copies of all the application
installers & just re-installing OS X if you ever need to (though, I've not
had to re-install the OS since I upgraded to 10.1 in Oct. 2001).

#2: Not sure about "down load to print a page". You do everything that you
want to in OS X in the same manner as you do in OS 9. Save a document in OS
X. Print it in OS 9 when the time comes. Also, *all* OS X Carbon and Cocoa
apps can "print" to .PDF and .PS (not .PSD) so it is possible to output
*anything* from your computer. Classic apps cannot take advantage of the PDF
print option (without Adobe's PDF Chooser device) so you'll have to be in OS
9 and print to your printer directly.

Eric.
