Anyone have experience with a wireless router/hub and AirPort? When I went to a cable modem, I planned for a second Mac (different room) that could share the modem and my printers. So, I set up my B&W G3 rev.1 and LaserWriter Pro 630 on an Asante FriendlyNET wireless router/hub; my HP DeskJet 952C is direct USB to my Mac.
We will soon decide between a high-end iMacG4 or a low-end PowerBook. Question: besides installing an AirPort card, what else do I need to do to give the new Mac access to the Internet, the hubbed LaserWriter and the non-hubbed DeskJet? What problems/fixes? I hope RoadRunner allows two simultaneous Internet connections on one modem--anybody know? Thanks in advance, and thanks in general to the frequent contributors for some great tips!
