Aussie readers of G-List, Are you a muso using or wanting to use a Mac for composing music? Do you have an older Mac that's not up to running lots of RAM or many big HDs for that music project?
I'm considering selling my B&W G3 which includes a few bits you might like: -a Griffin (OS X compatible too) internal serial port upgrade(cost $$ from Griffin with shipping etc, but worth it) -40Gb Seagate HD -Adaptec 2940U2-mac SCSI card -Apple factory DVD/hardware decoder daughtercard -Apple CD-R from a QuickSilver G4 mac -Mac USB v90 extl. modem -ADB port last seen in B&W's-for legacy tablets, trackballs, audio gear etc plus: other gear like Apple LaserWriter (360?) w. 600dpi fineprint/photograde etc I don't know if any of this stuff makes this G3 more attractive to buy, so wondering if anyone here uses their Mac with Protools, Reason etc. Anyone interested in the G3 or the parts? Selling this/bits will encourage me to upgrade to a PowerBook :) Just wondering if anyone here needs anything that I'm not using. I'm in Sydney & have had hassles trying to mail gear, so prefer Sydney pickup if it's heavy... Interested in the G3 or parts? Let me know via the mac.com email! Thanks. Cheers, Ben PS. hi Clae, are you still making stuff in Melbourne w. Clan Analogue? -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
