Goeie morgen Marc:

(1) How about taking the Lite-On to the G4s (if it's external) & trying a
burn with it? (I *highly* doubt that's the case)

(2) Will the CD boot in a G4 or a G3?

(3) Are you using HFS or HFS+?

(4) Why are you mounting with Toast 4.x? I would avoid using too many
different programs and versions on the image.

(5) Have you disabled Apple's Disk Burner software on the G4s? It may be
interfering with the burn somehow (even though 5.1.3 is supposed to cohabit
with Disk Burner).

(6) Try making a disk image of the original OS 9 CD, do not mount it, burn
it (with bootable option selected) to CD and see if that will boot a Mac.

(7) Try using CD-RWs until you get the formula right (save yourself from
burning too many coasters). The G4 should definitely boot off a CD-RW and
the newer (12x+) CD-ROMs in PCI-PowerMacs should be able to read CD-RWs as
well.
