Canons are cheaper to use if they are the ones with individual ink tanks, And cheaper to use for another reason: the ink tank is just that: an ink tank; there is no electronics or jet contained like there is for HP and Epson. He also said the stay very far clear of Lexmark inkjets. Both he and I have an Epson 740 ( the one in iMac look) at home, and it does work well, but it gets about 5 miles to the gallon.
