Larry Blodgett7/10/02 4:26 [EMAIL PROTECTED] noticed a big
difference in speed when downloading photos from my camera, and although it
isn't supposed to make any difference, my USB 1 stuff seems to all work a
little faster. I've switched my peripherals from the USB 1 port to the USB
2 Port a few times and then clocked the speed at which they seem to get up
and running and the USB 2 port is faster by a matter of 10 to 20 seconds,
and up to 90 - 130 seconds faster on photo downloads, depending on the
hardware being used. I have my Harmon-Kardon Stick Speakers, Epson Printer
and My Epson 1240U Scanner (they are both usb 1) hooked into the USB 2 port.
It came with 4 added USB 2 Ports and 2 extra firewire ports. Very easy to
install, and so far not one problem with it. Make sure you follow the
directions and rebuild the desktop file after installing it.
