Lot of stick I got for complaining that when osx goes down, it really goes
down. You DO need to get into unix then. Someone said that id learn the os
in time like i learned 8/9 etc. Its not quite the same though. Prevously I
had to learn gui stuff like extensions manager, hold down shift or dumping
prefs files - fairly simple. Now  when in trouble I will have to type what I
find fairly complicated strings of instruction that use a vocabulary that is
a long way from english. The room for a typing error is great apart from
anything else (like remembering them at all)

My x is running again and i love it 'while'it works. I just think apple will
need to wrap something around the unix side so that people like me can fix
problems in a more intuitive and apple-like manner
