It could just be that it is not supported by Drive Setup, although if 
I remember correctly it should come up as being unsupported when 
Drive Setup does it's scan for devices.

Check that the connectors are all properly seated, if that doesn't 
work try a third part HD driver/formatter such Intech's HD Speedtools
